Indo-Gangetic Brahmaputra River Valleys comprise ∼5–6-km-thick sediments. Crustal higher Himalayas southern Tibet ∼70 km but between ∼30 ∼40 remaining part. Several patches low-velocity medium present mid-to-lower along across rifts indicate presence either partially molten materials or aqueous fluid. Moho depth decreases drastically Yadong-Gulu rift indicating complex effect underthrusting Indian plate Eurasian plate. Crust upper Shillong Massif Mikir Hills are at shallow level. This observation indicates that forces contribute uprising Massif.
